Paul Teng, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Paul Teng, is Adjunct Senior Fellow in Food Security in the Centre for Non-Traditional Security (NTS) Studies, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, and Dean of Graduate Studies and Professional Learning at the National Institute of Education (NIE), both within Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has over 20 years of experience in food security issues, having held positions at the WorldFish Center, Malaysia, the International Rice Research Institute, and Monsanto Company.
Teng was awarded the Eriksson Prize in Plant Pathology, and is a Fellow of the American Phytopathological Society, and The World Academy of Sciences. He is currently Vice-Chairman, International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA) and Chair, Asia Biobusiness Pte Ltd.
