Dr Ivica Petrikova is Reader (Associate Professor) in Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is also a co-director of the Global Politics and Development Centre at Royal Holloway and co-convenor of the Global Politics and Development Working Group at British International Studies Association. Her main research interests include the governance of food security, the effectiveness and financialisation of development aid and public social programmes, and the links between development and the environment. Her research has been published in many academic journals, including Lancet Planetary Health, Food Security, BMC Public Health, European Journal of Development Research, and International Affairs.
