Roberto Sensi

Roberto Sensi is a policy expert at ActionAid Italy, where he leads the organization’s work on food poverty, with a strong focus on policy analysis and advocacy. With a background in global food security and the right to food, his current work examines how public policies can tackle the structural drivers and multidimensional nature of food insecurity in high-income countries. He contributes to shaping policy debates by producing research reports, articles, and policy briefs, and by engaging with institutions and civil society actors at local, national, and European levels to promote more systemic and rights-based responses to food poverty. He also serves as co-guest editor of a special issue of the journal Global Food Security titled “Understanding Food Insecurity in High-Income Countries: New Theoretical Approaches, Multidimensional Perspectives, and Innovative Practices and Policy Responses.”.
