TABLE is a collaboration between the University of Oxford, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Wageningen University, University of the Andes, and National Autonomous University of Mexico. TABLE works with food system stakeholders to explore the future of food, and the ways in which scientific evidence and social values inform often conflicting visions and arguments for necessary change.
At the GFSC 2024, TABLE will play a role in guiding both speakers and participants to consider the underlying values that influence their own work. TABLE has been actively involved in the Scientific Committee (Elin Röös) and the Programme Committee (Matthew Kessler) and will engage with attendees through various interactive methods such as quizzes, informal meet ups, and recorded interviews. Furthermore, TABLE will contribute to distilling key insights and conclusions from the conference.
