Scientific Committee

Elin is an associate professor at the Department of Energy and Technology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, where she leads the research group on Sustainable Food Systems. Her research and teaching evolves around sustainable food production and consumption from many different angles. It includes the assessing the environmental impact of different foods, production systems and dietary patterns, with a special focus on the impacts related to climate change. Developing and modeling future scenarios on how produce food for a growing population in a sustainable way is also central to her work. She leads and is involved in several interdisciplinary projects aimed at accomplishing more sustainable food systems through changes in production and consumption practices. She is also engaged as an expert in national and international policy processes.
